Christina Perri was born on August 19, 1986, in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, United States.
Perri taught herself how to play the guitar at the age of 16.
She started her music career by performing at cafes and open mic nights in Philadelphia.
Perri gained worldwide recognition with her hit song "Jar of Hearts," which was featured on the television show "So You Think You Can Dance" in 2010.
She has released four studio albums, including "Lovestrong" (2011), "Head or Heart" (2014), "Songs for Carmella: Lullabies & Sing-a-Longs" (2019), and "Goldmine" (2020).
Perri is known for her emotional and heartfelt lyrics, which often deal with themes of love, loss, and relationships.
She has collaborated with several well-known musicians, including Ed Sheeran, Jason Mraz, and Colbie Caillat.
Perri has also made appearances on several television shows, including "The X Factor," "Dancing with the Stars," and "The Voice."

Perri got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Paul Costabile, on June 21, 2017, and they got married in December of the same year. They have two children together.
