Dominick Drexler was born on February 22, 1990, in Wiesbaden, Germany.
He started his youth career at the age of six with SV Wehen Wiesbaden.
Drexler made his professional debut in 2010 for SV Wehen Wiesbaden, where he played until 2013.
He has played for several clubs in Germany, including Rot-Weiss Erfurt, Holstein Kiel, and 1. FC Cologne, before joining FC Schalke 04 in 2021.
Drexler primarily plays as an attacking midfielder or a winger.
In his first game for FC Schalke 04, he scored a goal in a 3-1 victory against FC St. Pauli.
He has scored over 40 goals and provided more than 50 assists throughout his professional career.
Drexler is known for his versatility and technical ability on the ball, which allows him to create chances for his team and score goals.
He has also played for the German U-21 national team.
Off the pitch, Drexler is known for his charitable work and has supported organizations that help children with cancer.
