Kevin Magnussen was born on October 5, 1992, in Roskilde, Denmark.
His father, Jan Magnussen, is also a former Formula One driver, and his mother, Christina Magnussen, is a former handball player.
Magnussen made his Formula One debut in 2014 with the McLaren team, alongside Jenson Button.
He scored his first podium finish in his debut race at the 2014 Australian Grand Prix, where he finished in second place.
In 2017, Magnussen moved to the Haas F1 team, where he drove until the end of the 2020 season.
