  1. Sébastien Haller joined Borussia Dortmund's youth academy in 2012 at the age of 18.

  2. Haller played for Borussia Dortmund II, the club's reserve team, from 2012 to 2015. During his time with the team, he scored 16 goals in 58 appearances.

  3. Haller made his first-team debut for Borussia Dortmund on December 16, 2014, in a DFB-Pokal match against Dynamo Dresden.

  4. In total, Haller made four appearances for Borussia Dortmund's first team during his time with the club, but he did not score any goals.

  5. Haller was loaned out to Dutch club FC Utrecht in 2015, and he quickly became one of the top strikers in the Eredivisie. He scored 51 goals in 98 appearances for Utrecht over the course of three seasons.

  6. Haller's performances for Utrecht earned him a move to German club Eintracht Frankfurt in 2017, where he continued to score goals and establish himself as one of the top strikers in the Bundesliga.

  7. In July 2019, Haller was signed by English Premier League club West Ham United for a club-record fee of £45 million, becoming the most expensive African player in history at the time.

  8. Despite not making a big impact at Borussia Dortmund, Haller has gone on to have a successful career, scoring goals regularly in both the Eredivisie and the Bundesliga, and earning a big-money move to the Premier League.
